Welcome! This is the spot on the site where you can see waiting blackpearldogs who need to be nutured through finanical supporters. We understand that many people want to help but are not in a position to adopt a waiting pearl dog at this exact moment in time. If you would like to help bridge and transition (cultivate, if you will) a waiting pearl, please visit one of the dogs below and see how you can help.
We have a working relationship with an extraordinary Animal Sanctuary/Rescue in Green Bay, WI named Happily Ever After (non-profit) who is graciously providing the physical space and care along with the emotional time to help waiting pearly dogs we have brought to them through awareness. Frankly speaking, each dog has a bill associated with their arrival, even if just in daily food, toys and bedding and although adoption donations are collected they rarely cover all the costs incurred. We have a flashing neon "Order Pizza" sign because we feel if we joined in together and each ate one less pizza and donated the price difference to a waiting pearl dog they will have the new beginning they are needing. All donations are tax dedcutible through Happily Ever After. Just click on a picture of any waiting face below to help one of these special dogs! In addition we have two special friends who always have been there to support Contrary to Ordinary through friendship, adoption days and just heartfelt support through answering emails, coordinating transport, screening adopters in addition to taking in BBD's.
